Can You Handle It?

Girls Who Handle It (GWHI) is a women run nonprofit that focuses on showing how not all difficulties looks the same—especially on social media. Founded in 2018, GWHI has had 5 successful events which tell personal difficult stories from college women aged 18-25 and showcase a snapshot of their social media at the time of their hardship to illustrate that not everything offline is as picture perfect as it is online. This event is treated like an art exhibit as printed stories and photos line the walls for attendees to read. This event takes 25-50 applicants per season and (pre covid) happens twice a year.
